MSSM/CUNY Climate Change Health Impact Interdisciplinary Research Initiative

A new partnership between the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and The City University of New York (CUNY) Establishes a Climate Change Health Impact Interdisciplinary Research Initiative

The MSSM/CUNY Climate Change Health Impact Interdisciplinary Research Initiative, a partnership established in 2022 between the Center on Health and Environment Across the LifeSpan (HEALS) at Icahn Mount Sinai and the City University of New York (CUNY) aims to build collaboration and integrate expertise for interdisciplinary research in climate change and health.

Faculty from several CUNY Colleges and Icahn Mount Sinai will have opportunities to collaborate, beginning with a call for transdisciplinary pilot grants tackling topics on “Climate Change and Health.” The goal is to bring together researchers across sponsoring institutions to create new, transdisciplinary partnerships.
