HEALS helps to build the careers of physicians and scientists dedicated to environmental health research through the following:
- Mentorship of clinical and research fellows and junior faculty
- Training in environmental health research methods, translation, and community-engaged research for scientists and clinicians
- Grant Preparation, Writing, and Bioethics Courses and other career development initiatives in collaboration with the Mount Sinai Clinical Science Translation Award (CTSA) Conduits program (PI: HEALS Deputy Director Rosalind Wright, MD MPH)
- Pilot Project Programs: Pilots are open to established and emerging environmental health scientists of all disciplines that provides access to Core Research Facilities and Community Engagement Core services. Current pilot programs include:
