Venue Location
The Benguerir campus is the main hub of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University. It is situated in the heart of the Mohammed VI Green City, near Marrakesh.
Hotel Accommodations
The hotel closest to campus is DoubleTree by Hilton Ben Guerir. There is also a Hampton by Hilton nearby. Students and trainees may be able to access university housing at a reduced cost.
Transportation
Getting to Ben Guerir
- Air: The nearest international airport is Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK), approximately 1 hour from Ben Guerir. Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport (CMN) is also an option, about 2 hours away.
- Train: Ben Guerir has its own ONCF train station, connected to Marrakech (about 45 minutes, roughly hourly service). Schedules and tickets are available via ONCF Voyages.
- Taxi: From Marrakech Menara Airport or Marrakech train station, a taxi to UM6P takes roughly 40–60 minutes.
Sightseeing and restaurants: Marrakech, about 45 minutes away, offers extensive sightseeing and dining options — see the Visit Marrakech tourism site for recommendations.
Lactation Rooms: Designated private lactation room(s) and refrigerator access will be provided upon request.
Language: The symposium will be conducted in English.
Wi-Fi & Technology: Network name and password will be provided upon arrival. Charging stations or outlets are limited at the venue.
